This characterful villa, built at the beginning of the last century, offers a perfect combination of authentic charm and modern luxury. The villa is centrally located, just 1 km from the station and 5 km from the famous water village of Giethoorn. With high ceilings and generous windows, the home exudes a sense of space and elegance. In recent years, the villa has been renovated and modernized to a high standard, ensuring sustainability and comfort go hand in hand. The home features multiple atmospheric living rooms, a spacious dining room, and a characterful eat-in kitchen, ideal for social gatherings with large groups of up to fifteen people.
One of the eye-catchers is the architect-designed backyard, reminiscent of a private resort. Here you will find a swimming pool with waterfalls, luxury terraces, and a spacious garden room complete with a television. The garden is surrounded by lush, colorful planting and offers plenty of privacy. The villa also features a detached garage with a man cave on the upper floor, including a billiard table.
The location in Steenwijk is ideal for nature lovers. The charming town center is within walking distance, and in the surrounding area, you can explore various nature reserves such as the Weerribben-Wieden and the Drents-Friese Wold. Activities such as hiking, cycling, and boating are readily available here. This holiday home is perfectly suited for families, groups of friends, and business meetings, where comfort and luxury come first.

• Sports clubs, student associations, youth groups (up to 25 years) and primary school groups are not allowed.
• The minimum age of the main booker for this holiday home is 35 years.
• This villa is located in a residential area. Parties and noisy gatherings are not permitted, including during the day. We kindly ask you to respect the evening quiet hours from 10:00 p.m.
• The swimming pool is heated from April 1 to October 1.
• Construction work is taking place on the adjacent plot. If you stay in this holiday home during the week, you may experience some inconvenience as a result.

Steenwijk has a cozy center, there is a small harbor for pleasure boats and it is centrally located between several nature reserves, such as the Eese, Weerribben-Wieden, Drents-Friese Wold, Dwingelderveld and the Holtingerveld. In these beautiful nature reserves, among other things, you have the opportunity to take a wonderful hike and bike ride. The many picturesque villages in the area such as Giethoorn, Sint-Jansklooster, Blokzijl and Dwarsgracht are also definitely worth a visit. Rent a whisper boat in Giethoorn and discover the beautiful surroundings from the water. For a fun outing, visit Klimbos Avontuurlijk Paasloo, De Orchideeën Hoeve or the dolmens in Havelte.

Hallo,
wir hatten wunderschöne Tage, sicher hätte das Wetter noch etwas besser sein können aber das liegt ja nicht in unseren Händen. Eine Mitbegleiterin äußerte das die Handtücher etwas klein waren aber auch das ist machbar. ;)
