Our spacious home features an open-plan layout with 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
Discover this large, newly-built home perfectly situated on the River Cam. Master Bedrooms (1 & 2): Very large, each with a super-king bed and upgraded mattress. Bedroom 3: Quite large with a king-sized bed. Bedroom 4: Smaller but comfortable, with a single bed. Top Level Bedrooms (5 & 6): These rooms feature flexible trundle-style beds, allowing for two guests per room (as singles or a double). Bedroom 6 also boasts a small balcony with the best views of River Cam. Accessibility: The ground floor is all on one level, with just two steps to enter.
There's a convenient bedroom and bathroom with a shower on this level. Living & Dining: Our home prioritizes open space over a formal dining room.
The kitchen has a breakfast bar for two. For larger groups, portable dining tray tables are available for use around the living area's large sofa (seats 4-5) and armchair.
While extra folding chairs are available, please note the main living area will not comfortably seat 11 people at once for a sit-down meal.
We've found this setup works well for our family and guests, but please consider this layout when booking. Parking: Free Parking: Ample free parking is available just 3 blocks (less than 5 minutes walk) along the River Cam. From the house, turn right when facing the river and walk along the path.
By car, turn down River Lane from Beche Road (Abbey Road does not provide through access). Free parking starts from the bottom of River Lane on Riverside and extends to the end. Temporary Parking: You can park directly outside the house daily from 5 Pm to 9 Am. Parking is also free all day Sunday and on Bank Holidays on Riverside and surrounding residential streets. Short-Term Pay Parking: For brief drop-offs between 9 Am and 5 Pm (Monday-Saturday), there's a pay-for-parking lot directly in front of the house.
Payment is via meters or app. Enjoy direct access to scenic riverside walking and biking trails.
You're just a short walk from Cambridge's main attractions, including the colleges and museums, plus a variety of pubs, restaurants, and grocery stores (Tesco, Aldi). It's an amazing spot for your Cambridge adventure! We offer self check-in however we are available via email or phone if needed.
