RCN les Collines de Castellane is definitely situated in a beautiful region: Les Alpes de Haute Provence in the southern Alpine right above the Côte d'Azur.
In the North the Mountains with their snowy summits, wild rivers and glaciers and in the South the authentic atmosphere of the Provence with its varied landscape of colourful fields, forests, rivers, streams and lakes.
The protected scenic area of the Gorges du Verdon, where RCN les Collines de Castellane is situated, is one of the highlights. The area is very suitable for marvellous walking tours and touring trips and for trying or practising a variety of mountain or water sports under accompaniment of experienced instructors.
