The River House is beautifully situated along the Repps bank of the tranquil River Thurne, nestled within the charming location of Repps Staithe in Potter Heigham.
This idyllic retreat is surrounded by the stunning and expansive Norfolk countryside, offering a peaceful escape into nature.
From the kitchen window provides a breathtaking view of the marshland, where an array of wildlife can frequently be spotted.
It is easy to find yourself standing there for hours, simply admiring the serene landscape and observing the birds and other creatures in their natural habitat. At the front of the property, the wonders of nature continue, with an abundance of wildlife quite literally on your doorstep.
Whether it is the graceful movements of the local birds, or the gentle rustling of reeds in the breeze, there is always something to capture your attention.
Additionally, the ever-changing view of boats sailing past on the river provides a soothing and leisurely pastime, making it effortless to unwind and appreciate the charm of this riverside retreat. This spacious 3-bedroomed cottage is the perfect retreat for friends and families alike.
With a large airy lounge/diner, there are wonderful views of the river and all its goings on. A double bedroom downstairs is perfect for those less able, and a the family bedroom upstairs is perfect for families with little ones, the twin is situated in a sloped ceiling so may not be suitable for the taller person.
The riverside garden is an absolute joy, your daytimes will be spent soaking up that view! Outside is a decked area that spans the length of the cottage, with a table and comfortable chairs – perfect for al-fresco dining in the sunshine.
A wonderful wide garden with lots of river frontage means there’s plenty of room to stretch out and read a book or pull up a chair and see if the fish are biting, don't forget your bird food either, you will have plenty of visitors that will come knocking for their daily feed. 2 small pets or 1 large are permitted here, small charge.
Parents Beware: This property has an unfenced river frontage, please be aware of this with children.

Sleeps 7 - Perfect retreat for fishing and family memories on the main River Thurne at Repps with Bastwick Staithe, Potter Heigham. Parking space provided just an 2-3 minute walk from the property. Free Wifi included and river fishing from the garden (in season).
