The detached house is located on a main road in Lixouri, Kefalonia.
Lixouri is a beautiful small town and has many lovely beaches that are well worth visiting.
It also offers pharmacies, medical clinics, supermarkets, churches, a playground, a central square, a public gym, and pleasant streets for walking.
Guests can enjoy a beach that is only a five-minute walk from the house. Guests have access to the entire house. Events, parties, and pets are not allowed. We would like to inform you about an important regulation mandated by the Greek government.
From April to October, all guests are required by law to pay an Environmental Fee. This fee cannot be included in the booking price and must be collected separately before arrival, as stipulated by the Greek authorities.
The fee is: €8 per night for apartments €15 per night for villas Please note: This amount is not a charge from us, and we do not profit from it in any way. Once we collect this fee, we pay it in full directly to the government as a tax. Unfortunately, we are not allowed to waive, reduce, or absorb this fee, no matter the circumstances.
Payment is required before check-in, as per Greek law. We completely understand this might be frustrating, and we sincerely wish we could make it easier for you. However, we are legally obligated to comply, and without this payment, check-in is not permitted.

Misuse may incur extra charges.
Compliance & Liability Failure to follow the above rules constitutes a breach of the rental agreement and may result in immediate termination of the stay without refund.
Guests agree that any damages, violations, or extra costs (including but not limited to cleaning, repairs, replacements, or penalties) may be claimed and charged through Airbnb in accordance with their policies.

Lixouri is the second-largest town on the island and is known for its welcoming atmosphere, picturesque harbor, and relaxed pace.
Strolling along the waterfront promenade, you will find traditional tavernas, cozy cafés, and local bakeries where you can enjoy fresh seafood and regional specialties.
The central square, Plateia Petritsi, is a vibrant meeting point filled with shops and restaurants, ideal for soaking up local culture. Nearby highlights include the famous Xi and Petani beaches, both known for their crystal-clear waters and stunning sunsets, as well as the historic Monastery of Kipouria perched dramatically on the cliffs above the sea. For nature lovers, the surrounding countryside offers olive groves, walking trails, and scenic viewpoints.
The area is also close to the port of Lixouri, which provides regular ferry connections to Argostoli, the island’s capital, making island hopping and day trips easy. Public transport is convenient, with local bus routes connecting Lixouri to popular beaches and villages across Kefalonia.

The bathroom is equipped with a shower, a sink, and a washing machine. There are also two courtyards (as shown in the photos). The house does not have private parking; however, guests can park their vehicle on the side of the road.
