Vacation in architectural monument combines heritage conservation and tourism. Historically valuable buildings are taken over, gently renovated and rented out as holiday flats. The model offers a double benefit: the monuments are given a new future and the holiday guests experience a stay in an exceptional building.
The idea is being realised by the Vacation in architectural monument foundation (FiB), which was founded in 2005 by the Swiss Heritage Society.
Altitude: 520 metres above sea level.IMPORTANT ADDITION The Eichhölzli is a listed building that has been renovated with great respect for the existing fabric.

Car park: A private car park is available in front of the house.
Public transport: Take bus 6 from the main railway station in the direction of Spitalzentrum to Eichhölzli/ Pt-Chê. The bus stop is 250 metres around the corner from Haus Eichhölzli.
Bicycles: Can be parked in the garage.

Mitte Februar und obwohl es insgesamt milder ist hatten wir mehr Sturm und Regen als Sonnenschein…Dankbar um die schöne Wohnung als Rückzugsort mit wunderbarer Sicht lies es sich auch drinnen gut verweilen…

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön eingerichtet und man fühlt sich sofort zu Hause. Die grosse Terrasse konnten wir voll ausnutzen.
