Hideaway Cottage No 1 is a pet-friendly property in the village of Seahouses, Northumberland.
This property is ideal for a group of friends or a family looking for a getaway, as it boasts open-plan and ground-floor living whilst being near the beach.
As you step into this welcoming holiday base, you’re greeted by an open-plan living area that immediately sets the tone.
Two inviting sofas are placed at the heart of the room, giving you a space to sit back together after a day out, while the dining table sits close by, ready for hearty breakfasts or evening meals.
The kitchen stretches along one side, equipped with everything you could need for a self-catered stay, including an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge with ice box, and a dishwasher.
Just off the main space, the utility room adds that extra convenience with a second fridge and a washer/dryer, ideal for longer stays.
Wandering further inside, you’ll find two well-presented bedrooms.
The king-size room offers its own en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin, and WC, while the twin room is served by a bright family bathroom fitted with a bath, shower over, basin, and WC. Every space feels thoughtfully designed, blending touches of character with modern comfort.
Outdoors, the shared front courtyard garden, complete with furniture, is the perfect spot to pause with a morning coffee or unwind with a drink in the evening.
With off-road parking for two cars and space for two well-behaved dogs to join the adventure, this holiday base has everything you need.

Hideaway Cottage No 1 consists of an open-plan living space with a kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge (with ice box), fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, kettle and toaster, a dining area with seating for four people, and a sitting area with a Smart TV, along with a utility. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with an en-suite walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a twin, along with a bathroom with a bath, shower over and WC. Outside, there is a shared front courtyard garden with furniture, and off-road parking for two cars. This property will be decorated for Christmas. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop and a pub, within 1 mile, a beach, and within 1.5 miles, a river, and please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Have an amazing trip at Hideaway Cottage No 1. Two well-behaved dogs are welcome. Beautifully presented, comfortable and well equipped. A central location with parking just steps from the coastal path, harbour and village centre. The property is opposite a public which we knew when we booked. There was a little noise on the weekend evenings around kicking out time just as an FYI, but generally pretty quiet. Overall, a great property and location and we would book again.

Perfect location to walk everywhere in Seahouses as everything on your doorstep, plus coastal walks, boat trips. Excellent property to accommodate couples or family plus the dog as every place, shops, pubs, boats and castles all dog friendly
