Cocoonr is offering this charming seafront flat for rent in Barneville-Carteret, situated within the Château de Chimay.
With a floor area of 104 m², it can accommodate up to 6 guests.
Situated on the first floor (no lift), it comprises a lovely 45 m² living room, a fully fitted kitchen, three beautiful bedrooms and a shower room. Wi-Fi (fibre optic), bed linen and towels are included – we’re just waiting for you! Scaffolding will be erected on the building from June to mid-September 2026, in preparation for and during the roof renovation works. During this period, workers may be carrying out work on the roof from 8.15 am to 4.30 pm. You should therefore expect some noise and visual disruption (due to the scaffolding). The south-facing property is laid out as follows: - A bright 45 m² living room with a 180° sea view, TV, sofa, armchairs and dining area - A fully fitted kitchen, including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, hob, panini press and non-electric kettle... - Bedroom 1: one queen-size bed (160×200), south-facing with sea views and a desk area - Bedroom 2: one double bed (140×190) and a desk area - Bedroom 3: two single beds that can be pushed together to form a double bed - A bathroom with shower and washing machine - Separate toilet The flat is ideally situated with direct access to the large beach at Barneville-Carteret, in a very pleasant setting.
You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market… Activities: Golf and equestrian centre (5 mins), water sports and sand yachting (10 mins), trips to the Channel Islands, cultural visits (castles, biscuit factory, botanical garden), a variety of restaurants, summer night markets, a cinema and the tourist office in Barneville-Carteret (10 mins), cycle rides (cycle path at the foot of the castle) and hiking on the GR223. Local market on Saturdays in the town centre all year round. Transport: If you choose to come by car, you can park for free near the accommodation (visitor car park or on-street parking). As for other modes of transport, here is some information that may be useful: - Nearest railway station: Valognes, approximately 30 km away (shuttle bus available to Barneville-Carteret) - Nearest airport: Caen, approximately 115 km away Other notes: - Bed linen and towels included - Free Wi-Fi available (fibre optic) - Beach towels provided on request at an additional cost (rental and payment to be arranged on site at the concierge desk). - Pets are not permitted in the accommodation - End-of-stay cleaning includes preparing the accommodation for future guests.
