Nestled in the heart of the rugged landscapes of the Upper Vallespir, the "Chez Suzanne" guesthouse welcomes you for a stay combining leisure and relaxation.
On the first floor, the "Vallespir" apartment features a lovely living room and a large bedroom with views of the verdant ridges (for an open view of the valley, see our other listing: "Canigou" apartment on the second floor, rated 3 stars for 2 people; a third adult or child is possible upon request).
Preferred rates are for weekly stays and Saturday arrivals.
Discounts are available for 2 weeks (10-20%) or 3 weeks or more (20-30%).
Just steps from the guesthouse, you'll appreciate the charm of the "Café Perché" and the narrow streets winding past picturesque, flower-filled houses.
From there, access a variety of hiking trails with superb viewpoints (plus waterfalls and natural pools).
You'll enjoy peace and quiet while being just minutes from Amélie-les-Bains, its Roman baths, and its leisure activities.
This cottage has been renovated to combine charm and comfort: - Living/dining room: sofa bed (140x190 cm, sleeps one adult or two children), swivel Smart TV - Open-plan fitted kitchen: 3 induction hobs, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, microwave, filter and Nespresso coffee makers, washing machine - Bedroom: 1 king-size bed (180x200 cm) - Bathroom with walk-in shower - Separate toilet Bed linen and towels are provided.
Reversible air conditioning in the living area.
Electric heating in the bedroom.
Fiber optic internet.
Free public parking within 300 meters.
Luggage and groceries can be unloaded in front of the house.
At the foot of the village (banks of the Tech river): equestrian center and the Voie Verte (44km) and Pirinexus (350km) cycle paths.
Other activities: trout fishing, treetop adventure courses, and trail running and mountain biking trails.
Further afield: the renowned Museum of Modern Art in Céret (10km), the superb Falgos golf course in the mountains (28km), Argelès-Plage and Le Racou (39km), and the beautiful coves, harbors, and vineyards of the Côte Vermeille between Collioure and Banyuls (42-50km) (diving sites).
