Winscales Rest is a delightful retreat situated near the Lake District National Park in Winscales, Cumbria.

This ground-floor lodge features open-plan living, an inviting electric fire, and a private decking area with breathtaking countryside and mountain views, making it perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a serene escape.

Upon entering this single-storey lodge, you will be greeted by a spacious open-plan area, where you can sit back and unwind on one of the two plush sofas to your heart's content.

Watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV, or warm up by the electric fire after a day of exploring the magnificent scenery all around you in Cumbria.

The kitchen and dining area is fully equipped for all your culinary needs as it has a gas oven, hob and a microwave, allowing you to prepare delicious meals to be enjoyed at the dining table.

The lodge boasts two well-appointed bedrooms: a king-size room complete with an en-suite featuring a walk-in shower, basin and WC, and a twin room with two 2’3” single beds.

Both rooms offer a calming retreat after a day of exploration.

There is also a separate shower room, equipped with a walk-in shower, basin and WC, providing additional convenience for all guests.

Step outside to the enclosed decking area, furnished for you to chill out and look out onto the serene views as you sip away with a favourite drink in hand.

A shop and a pub are short drives away for any essentials or a meal out. Surrounding Winscales Rest Lodge is a plethora of attractions to populate your stay.

Winscales Rest, a single-storey lodge, consists of a kitchen/diner with gas oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, and dining seating for four, and a sitting room with Smart TV, electric fire, and two sofas. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite and twin. There is a shower room with walk-in shower, basin, and WC. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden decking area with furniture and off-road parking for one car. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. A stay at Winscales Rest Lodge promises to be one to remember.
