Information about the host
We are a real fairytale farm - even the Brothers Grimm visited us on their hikes to the nearby knight's castle. Our fairytale farm, also known as Weidelshof, is located 800m outside the picturesque half-timbered town of Naumburg. As a single farm in the middle of the densely wooded low mountain range landscape of northern Hesse at the foot of the Weidelsburg, it borders on a nature reserve. Idyllic like in a knight's book: Our home castle, the Weidelsburg, the largest castle ruin in northern Hesse, is always within sight and can be reached by a short hike. Depending on the season and your mood, you are welcome to help with the farm work and feeding the animals. In the farm store you will find honey, seasonal fruit and delicious apple juice. Ideal for the whole family, a paradise for children Many petting animals, playground, ponies, donkeys, sheep, goats, forest and stream for splashing and fishing, barbecue area with arbor for celebrations, play and sunbathing areas near the stream. We offer: free pony rides, play cave, barbecue area with arbor, fishing, toddler service, table tennis, Kneipp spa, water treading area, satellite TV, children's vehicles, campfire, trampoline, giant go-karts. New: The play and fairytale barn We have built a large indoor play paradise for your children. Here you will find a large knight's castle with slide, caves and climbing towers and a giant sandpit, all heated and therefore usable at any time of year. Enjoy a vacation with your children regardless of the weather - no dreary sitting around in the vacation apartment, but action and fun on the farm! The fairytale playroom offers plenty of variety for the little ones, even in bad weather: fairytale and knight books, laying games, puzzles, building sets. Lots of games and coloring materials are available. Enjoy a weather-independent vacation with your children. Hikers' paradise Hikers and nature lovers feel particularly at home at the Weidelshof and can enjoy the peace and quiet, the wonderful air and the idyllic landscape with its diverse flora and fauna. Places of interest in the surrounding area: Edersee (12 km): swimming, fishing, canoeing Fritzlar (18 km): cathedral tour/timbered town Bad Arolsen: beautiful fun pool with baby pool and giant slide, an experience for the whole family Kassel (25 km): castle, Hercules, museums, documenta "Arobella" fun pool in Bad Arolsen (18 km)

Description of the accommodation
Our vacation home Frau Holle in the upper courtyard. It is ideally located near the play area and has a beautiful view of the Wiesental valley. The house can be occupied by up to 4 people. The vacation home costs 115,- EUR to 135,- EUR per night + 1x final cleaning 70,- EUR. Bed linen and towels should be brought along. The house has a ground floor double room (bedroom downstairs with bed 180x200, mattresses 2x90x200) crib can be added and a room-saving staircase to the second sleeping level (please note). On the second sleeping level bed 160x200. We offer a bread roll service, and there is also a well-equipped kitchen in the house. Restaurants are easy to reach in the village.
