The Granary is a charming cottage situated near the Peak District National Park in the quaint village of Hopton, Derbyshire.
With convenient off-road parking and EV charging facilities, this delightful retreat is perfect for families or groups of friends seeking a tranquil countryside escape.
Upon entering the property, you'll be greeted by a spacious kitchen/diner, perfect for preparing and enjoying meals as a group or for spreading out with a board game after dinner.
The sitting room is an inviting haven, boasting a warming woodburning stove set within an exposed brick inglenook fireplace, and relaxing seating in the form of three sofas and an armchair.
From here, enjoy views out to the lawn, providing a serene backdrop to your stay.
The property is spread over three floors, offering seven bedrooms to choose from.
On the lower-ground-floor, you'll find two bedrooms; a double and a twin, each with their own en-suite facilities featuring walk-in showers, basins and WCs. On the first floor, you will find one double and a twin with en-suite shower rooms.
On the second floor, there's a family room with a king-size and toddler bed, a bunk room, and a shared en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin and WC. A handy cloakroom with a basin and WC completes the interior of this charming cottage.
Outside, there's a non-enclosed garden with a lawn, gravel and furniture, perfect for enjoying the outdoors and dining alfresco.
A large formal garden with a play area and café is also available for guests to use during peak season.
For your convenience, there's a communal laundry room and bike storage.

The Granary, a cottage over three floors, consists of a kitchen/diner with double oven, hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher, seating for fourteen guests, a shared utility, a sitting room with wood-burning stove. The bedrooms consist of a lower-ground-floor double with en-suite shower, two doubles with en-suites showers, lower-ground-floor twin with en-suite shower, twin with en-suite shower, second-floor family room with en-suite shower, and bunk bed. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is a non-enclosed garden with lawn, gravel, and furniture, a shared garden, bike storage, and off-road parking. EV charging is available. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Note: There is a Good Keeping Housekeeping Bond. Please note this property can't accept check ins on the 26th of 27th of December. Please note: The gardens and grounds are open seasonally to the
public, primarily in February for the Snowdrop Season and July for the Summer Gardens however, guests staying in the holiday cottage have access to view the formal gardens and grounds year-round during their stay.

The Granary was absolutely perfect for our large group staying & celebrating over new year. It’s in a beautiful setting, with amazing grounds & the house is large, well equipped & very clean and tidy. The rooms all boast en-suites which was a huge positive for a large group. This is an amazing place. So much space and a bathroom with every bedroom which makes a huge difference with large groups. The owners have clearly spent a lot of time and money making it just right, everything just works, high quality fixtures and fittings, ample hot water :) and beautiful surroundings. The pool was great, the kids loved it. Thank you Spencer, Emma and team.
