Some of Tuscany’s most famous sights are within easy reach. The nearby village of Tavarnelle Val di Pesa, about 6 km away, offers a Coop supermarket, small shops and restaurants.
The charming medieval hilltop town of San Casciano is also close by, with further shops and places to dine.
Wine enthusiasts will enjoy visiting the renowned Marchesi Antinori winery, just ten minutes away by car, where tastings and lunch at the Rinuccio 1180 restaurant can be enjoyed on a terrace overlooking the vineyards.
Memorable day trips include Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra and Siena. La Fornace sits peacefully in the countryside and features a façade of brick and natural stone.
The fully private garden includes a well-kept lawn, terracotta flower boxes and a covered terrace for al fresco dining.
