Porto Santo Stefano with restaurants, shops and supermarkets is within easy reach.
From here you can also take a ferry to the island of Giglio.
The Orbetello Lagoon Nature Reserve with its 1,500 hectares of marshland is only a short drive away and is home to rare bird species such as pink flamingos and white herons.
Orbetello itself has a charming historic centre with narrow streets and a lively piazza.
