Nestled in the heart of the stunning fishing village of Polperro, this charming traditional cottage offers the perfect Cornish escape. Just a short, picturesque walk from the harbour, beaches, and cosy pubs, you have everything you need right on your doorstep, yet enjoy a peaceful, quiet setting away from the bustle.
We are proud to be a greener, eco-friendly cottage, fitted with the very latest Duracell battery storage system. This means we store low-cost energy, allowing us to power the cottage with cleaner electricity, reduce our carbon footprint, and help protect this beautiful coastline for the future. You can enjoy your stay knowing you are holidaying in a sustainable home that cares for the environment.
The cottage has been beautifully kept and blends original character with modern comfort. Downstairs you’ll find a bright, cosy living room with a wood-burning stove — perfect for relaxing after a day exploring — plus a well-equipped kitchen/diner with everything you need to prepare meals, including a dishwasher, fridge-freezer, and oven.
Upstairs are two comfortable bedrooms: a spacious double bedroom with plenty of storage, and a handy single bedroom, both decorated in a calm, welcoming style. The modern family bathroom features a walk-in shower cubicle, toilet and washbasin.
Outside, you have a private, enclosed south-facing garden — a real sun-trap! It’s furnished with a table and chairs, ideal for al fresco dining or enjoying a cup of tea in the fresh Cornish air. There’s also private parking for one car, a real luxury in Polperro.
You are perfectly placed for exploring: 5-minute walk to Polperro Harbour, beaches, shops & restaurants, 15 minutes to Looe, 30 minutes to Liskeard (with mainline rail links) & close to the South West Coast Path for amazing walks
Broadband is available with speeds of up to 70Mbps. Please note: due to local infrastructure, the connection can occasionally glitch or slow down — something common in our beautiful but rural village location.

Please note: This property has a minimum 3 night stay. Teana Cottage consists of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher, a dining area with seating for four people, and a sitting room with a Smart TV and a woodburning stove. The bedrooms consist of a double and a single, along with a shower room with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. Outside, there is an enclosed front garden terrace with furniture and a designated parking place for one car. Within 0.1 miles, you will find a shop and a pub, and within 0.2 miles, a beach and a river. One dog is welcome but please note that this is a non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Let Teana Cottage be your charming base to explore the coast and countryside. Note: Steps leading up to the property, please take care. Note: Property may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping Bond of 200 GBP.
