Accommodation description
Enjoy a wonderful vacation in this spacious holiday home in the Gailtal Valley in Carinthia, close to the village center and the slopes of the Kötschach-Mauthen ski area, and just a short distance from the Nassfeld ski area! This holiday home combines comfort with a warm, homely atmosphere and offers a stunning view of the mountains from the large balcony.
After an active day, you can relax on the terrace or in the garden.
Free WiFi is available, and parking is available under the carport The holiday home is idyllically located in the quiet mountain village of Kötschach-Mauthen in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See holiday region.
At the end of the picturesque Gailtal, at the tripoint of Austria, Italy, and Slovenia, you'll be surrounded by impressive mountain ranges, pure Alpine air, and plenty of sunshine – a place where nature, relaxation, and adventure come together.
Almost right next to the house are the slopes of the Kötschach-Mauthen-Vorhegg ski area.
With 6 km of slopes and 37 km of cross-country ski trails, it is ideal for families and those seeking tranquility.
Larger ski areas like Nassfeld (110 km), Zettersfeld in the Lienzer Dolomites (21 km), and Golzentipp in Obertilliach (12 km) are accessible within a 25–45 minute drive by car or with the free ski bus (about 300 m from the house).
There is also plenty to do in the summer.
The Nassfeld–Pressegger See holiday region offers countless hiking and cycling routes and 25 themed trails from the ‘Hike World’.
Relax in the Aquarena with its pool and wellness facilities, or visit the Waldbad Mauthen, an idyllic natural swimming pool.
The warm lakes of Pressegger See and Weissensee are a 30–45 minute drive away and are perfect for a day by the water.
For mountain lovers, the Wolayersee and Frischenkofel are also highly recommended.
