Located in a very charming medieval town within walking distance to everything
Unique townhouse located in the heart of the very cozy village of Cotignac, a few hundred meters from the main street with cafés, restaurants, bakery and supermarket and with direct views of the large rock wall "La Falaise", which with its caves and rock formations rises as a landmark behind the town.
Cotignac is a lively town all year round.
In the summer, there is a market in the town on Tuesdays and if you want to be active during your holiday, there are both tennis and paddle courts in the town as well as good opportunities for both hiking and cycling.
Within 1 hour's drive you can also reach the Gorges du Verdon - Europe's answer to the Grand Canyon.
Here you can experience the magnificent scenery and rent pedal boats or kayaks for a sailtrip on the river. The townhouse is located in a car-free street and therefore you cannot park directly in front of the house.
There are several public car parks in the city - the nearest one is 200 meters from the house.
In the summer, parking spaces can be crowded, so you cannot be sure of finding a space in the nearest car park. The townhouse is on 3 floors and has a very special plot that is laid out in high terraces.
From the first floor of the property, you can access a terrace with a dining area and barbecue.
One level up there is another small cozy terrace and at the top a huge terrace with a small pool and a covered area where you can enjoy the shade during the day or the city lights in the evening.
Despite your location in the city center, it's quiet both inside and out. You enter the property via a staircase from street level.
A few steps down you will find a newer kitchen and half a floor further down a bedroom with a double bed and dining table. From the entrance hall, you go up a staircase to the first floor where there is a cozy living room with air conditioning and access to a terrace with a dining table and chairs.
On this floor you will also find a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The 2nd floor of the property contains an open mezzanine with a sofa and a double bedroom. The town is known for its many cats, and it is therefore to be expected that cats may visit the outdoor areas from time to time. This house is not suitable for walking disables persons. Please note that the accommodation is not equipped with WIFI. + Security deposit (to be returned after your stay) 400,00 EUR
