Cereal growers in "sustainable agriculture", Sylvie & Rémy open the doors to a charming contemporary residence built "identically" on the basis of a traditional Bresse farm (dismantled several kms away then rebuilt on site, notably preserving the exceptional star-shaped framework) nestled in a "cul de sac" on the edge of a small rural residential hamlet, opening onto a vast plateau of fields & meadows, a stone's throw from the small typical village of Pourlans, rich in a vast national forest, a literal wild "green lung" of 660 ha dotted with ponds (to explore on foot or mountain bike). In the heart of the Bresse countryside, adjoining the Saône & the Doubs (paradise for kayakers & fishermen, famous for its catfish, pikeperch or carp, with natural beaches), remarkable ecosystem protected in "Natura 2000 Zone" (exceptional ornithological reserve rich in 160 species of birds and very rare plant varieties). Very comfortable cottage.

Le gîte était tout a fait conforme à la description. Lieu agréable, en campagne au milieu des champs.Les propriétaires sont disponibles si besoin. Tout était propre.Gentillesse de nous avoir offert un bon bout de comté. Adresse à garder
