An ideal match for nature-lovers, keen walkers or those simply wanting a relaxed getaway – Ramblers Retreat is sure to bring you tranquillity as the property has stunning scenery and a variety of beautiful walking routes right on its doorstep. Guests have access to the full property.
The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date. Free on-street parking is available on a first-come, first served basis nearby. Ramblers Retreat has three floors and due to the nature of the property, the stairs can be steep and narrow so please take extra care. Pets: Allowed.

This circular route covers 53 miles, looping around the stunning scenery of the Nidd Valley, get lost in the landscapes and enjoy an area which is renowned for its floral beauty. With a collection of independent shops and quaint tea shops to enjoy your morning cuppa and a slice of homemade cake, Pateley bridge is a welcoming town with character in abundance.
For those with a sweet tooth you can visit the oldest sweet shop in England for your midget gems or lemon sherbets. For history fans you can visit the Nidderdale Museum and explore the cobbler’s shop, school room and a collection of relics and artefacts depicting the Yorkshire way of life. The kitchen area has everything you could need including an oven, hob, fridge freezer, kettle, coffee machine and toaster.
Enjoy your home cooked meals at the dining area which includes a wooden table and two matching chairs.
When it comes to relaxing at the end of a busy day, retreat to the sofa and turn on the flat screen TV to keep up with your favourite shows on Freeview. The bathroom is also located on the first floor.
This modern and stylish space features a walk in shower, wash basin and WC. Take the stairs to the second floor and here you’ll discover the bedroom.
With sloped ceilings and a neutral colour scheme, the space is relaxing and cosy.
The comfy, double bed is guaranteed to provide a great night’s sleep.
The space is complete with bedside drawers and lamps, a digital alarm clock, hangers, an iron and board, plus a hair dryer.
