Viganj and Kućište are old and beautiful village, sprawling along a string of beaches, with ancient churches, country walks, grocery shops, couple of cafes and several good traditional restaurants. You will enjoy tranquillity, relaxation and scenery in this lovely place. It is easy to visit Dubrovnik, the amazing Pelješac peninsula, island Mljet or Mostar. The area is full of interesting activities and worth exploring. In addition to the mild climate and beautiful beaches, Viganj and Kućište are recognized on the world stage by the conditions for engaging in windsurfing and so called kite-surfing. Viganj has repeatedly been host to international competitions in windsurfing. Once in Perna, you are just ten-minutes boat ride away from the town of Korčula , the pearl of the Mediterranean architecture and the birthplace of the great world traveler and explorer, Marco Polo. Altough he won’t be home (according to his neighbors) be sure to visit his birthplace! :-)
