Willow View is a charming rural cottage located just 0.8 miles from Wadebridge in the peaceful hamlet of Polmorla, offering an idyllic Cornish retreat surrounded by countryside while still being close to local amenities.

This beautifully presented, pet friendly holiday cottage provides an inviting haven for families or friends seeking a relaxing base from which to explore Cornwall’s stunning coastline, picturesque walking routes, and vibrant local attractions. On arrival, guests are welcomed by a classic Cornish cottage exterior complete with climbing flowers, a backdrop of mature trees, and a tranquil atmosphere that immediately sets the tone for a restful getaway. Inside, Willow View combines traditional character with contemporary comfort.

The modern, fully equipped kitchen is designed to meet all your culinary needs, while the adjoining dining room exudes rustic charm with exposed stonework and the original bread oven, creating a cosy setting for memorable mealtimes. After a day discovering the scenic surroundings, the characterful sitting room offers the perfect place to unwind, featuring an inviting open fire set within an exposed stone fireplace.

The property includes a sleek bathroom and a separate shower room, and three bedrooms; a king size, a twin, and a single with a pull out truckle bed, all offering ample storage and individual charm. Outside, the pretty garden provides a peaceful escape where guests can enjoy alfresco dining, morning coffee among the birdsong, or an evening drink under Cornwall’s star studded skies.

Wadebridge, the nearest town, offers an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, and essential amenities, and serves as the gateway to the famous Camel Trail, ideal for scenic walks and bike rides rich in local wildlife. The area surrounding Willow View is filled with remarkable attractions.

History lovers can visit the impressive St Breock Downs Monolith, one of Britain’s heaviest ancient standing stones, offering breathtaking views across rolling countryside.

Nearby Stepping Stone presents a charming countryside route perfect for leisurely exploration. For beach days and coastal adventures, the popular destinations of Padstow and Polzeath are within easy reach, offering sandy shores, water sports, and atmospheric harbour scenes.

Willow View consists of a kitchen with an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, coffee machine, slow cooker, kettle, and toaster, an external utility with washing machine and tumble dryer, a dining room with exposed stonework, and original bread oven, and a sitting room with a Smart TV and open fire. The bedrooms consist of a king-size, a twin, and a single with a pull-out truckle bed (this bed is only suitable for children as the room is small). Bathroom and shower room. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included. Rear private, multi-level garden with lawned area and patio with furniture and off-road parking for two cars. One well-behaved pet is welcome or two small dogs. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 0.9 miles, pub 0.7 miles, river 0.9 miles. Wherever your exploration takes you, enjoy all this with a stay at Willow View. Note: Part of the charm of this quaint cottage is the low beams, there are areas with reduced door and ceiling heights, please take care. Lovely stay at Willow View (WV) Polmorla is an excellent base for travelling around Cornwall. We visited Padstow, Meva, Polkeris, Newquay among other places. Many excellent places to eat all within 30 mins of WV. Thank you.

A lovely stay in a beautiful, comfortable and well appointed cottage. A slight miscommunication about the key code on arrival but very quickly resolved by helpful staff.
