## Emplacement
Saint-Mandrier-sur-Mer, a commune in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, is located on the peninsula of the same name, connected to the mainland by the isthmus of the Sablettes. About 15 kilometres south of Toulon, it helps to delimit the harbour. Originally made up of islets, it became a unique island in the Middle Ages, the island of Sepet, before being attached to the mainland in the 17th century. Once focused on agriculture, it has converted into tourism, with a marina and unspoilt coastline, where beaches and pine forests are popular.
