Located in the historic center (Restricted Traffic Zone - ZTL in Italian), just 150 meters from Corso Mazzini and just 80 meters from Piazza del Comune, the accommodation is in a perfect position to comfortably explore on foot all the wonders of Assisi.


The internal space

The completely renovated 106 sqm apartment is located on the first floor of a period house WITHOUT a lift (2 external steps and 12 internal ones to access it).


The space is organized as follows
- LIVING ROOM with double sofa bed and TV;

- KITCHEN with gas hob, fridge, two moka pots, a coffee machine, kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, kitchen utensils, wine glasses and dining table;

- BEDROOM I with double bed, TV and chest of drawers;

- BEDROOM II with two single beds, TV and chest of drawers;

- BATHROOM I with shower, sink, bidet and toilet;

- BATHROOM II with shower, sink, bidet and toilet;

- LAUNDRY ROOM with washing machine (accessible from the kitchen).


FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, central heating, two portable fans hairdryer, clothes horse, iron and ironing board.


ATTENTION: There is no air conditioning.


Guests' access

Guests will have full access to all areas of the house and there are no shared spaces.

Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 383 of 6.10.2022).

Description of the area

Assisi is an enchanting village known for being the city that gave life to San Francesco and Santa Chiara, and it perfectly identifies with that vast range of cities to visit from a historical, artistic and religious point of view.

These places are famous for their great tradition of hospitality and a gastronomy with excellent products.

Expect genuine, substantial cuisine with local products served in the traditional way.


A chopping board with Umbricelli, honey, bruschetta with the exceptional local oil (DOP Assisi) and truffles usually opens the meal.

Among the first courses are the stringozzi and the umbrichelli, types of very double hand-made pasta that goes well with pork or game sauces (hare, deer).

Among the second courses, the excellent local meat, pecorino di Assisi.

Assisi has a typical dessert, the Rocciata, a kind of strudel made with apples.

For wines, just remember that the Assisi area has 5 DOCs: Grechetto, white, rosé, novello, red.


Getting around

- From Umbria San Francesco d'Assisi International Airport: you can reach the apartment in about 1 hour and 15 minutes with the AIRLINK bus line to Assisi Station and then with bus line C to the "P.Matteotti" stop, just 6 minutes walk from the accommodation (450 m).


- From Assisi Station: you can reach the apartment in about 20 minutes with bus line C to the "P.Matteotti" stop, 6 minutes walk from the accommodation (450 m).


- For those traveling by car: ATTENTION, the apartment is in a ZTL, however it is possible to access for loading and unloading luggage or accompanying passengers. You can leave your car in the public indoor paid parking Mojano about 19 minutes walk away or in the free parking nearby (NOT guaranteed).
