Cobbles Cottage is an inviting mid-terrace grade 2 listed cottage, lying on a quaint cobbled street in the charming village of Heptonstall, West Yorkshire.
Effortlessly blending character and contemporary features, this self-catering cottage is the perfect escape for couples, friends, or a small family looking to explore this scenic region.
Step inside to the sitting room with flagstone floors and exposed beams honouring the history of the property and where a toasty woodburning stove takes centre stage, a welcome addition to cosy up in front of after a day of walking.
From here, the kitchen/diner is well-equipped for home-cooked meals, with Quartz worktops, SMEG oven, Nespresso coffee machine and a handy dishwasher.
Step out into the cottage garden to the rear, where a bistro dining set welcomes you to enjoy your morning coffee in the peaceful setting.
When it is time to rest, the first floor hosts a king-size bedroom with a feature fireplace and wardrobe space, along with a sleek bathroom to freshen up in. Moving through the property, a study finishes off the first floor, with scenic views of the hills.
Climb the stairs to the second bedroom, a double, where exposed beams and a Velux window provide a welcoming sleeping space after a busy day. Head out to explore the local village, home to the White Lion pub and The Cross Inn, should you not fancy cooking or want an evening tipple. The village itself was also the location of the BBC series, ‘The Gallows Pole’ and you can catch a glimpse of the back of the cottage in some scenes; it is also well-known for the hit series ‘Happy Valley’. Countryside walks are endless in the area, with the popular town of Hebden Bridge around a mile away on foot, where you can stop for food at one of the many restaurants and cafés to keep you fuelled.
You’ll be in a prime position for Brontë Country, showcasing the life and works of the English novelist and poet Brontë sisters.
Find Haworth just a scenic drive away, where the quintessential English charm continues to impress.
The Peak District National Park lies to the south, and the Yorkshire Dales National Park lies to the north, meaning you will not be left short of outdoor adventure while on your trip; hiking through the many peaks or enjoying an afternoon tea. Well-positioned to also reach the likes of Halifax, which has links to the famous English diarist, Anne Lister, Leeds and Manchester, there's plenty to see and do with Cobbles Cottage as your abode.

Cobbles Cottage is set over three floors, with two bedrooms including a king-size and a second-floor double, along with a bathroom. The living areas include a kitchen/diner, a sitting room with a woodburning stove and a first-floor study. Appliances include an electric oven, induction hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher and for entertainment, there is a TV, WiFi, and a Bluetooth speaker. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with furniture. Unloading only outside of the property, with free parking available a short walk away; either roadside parking on a first-come, first-served basis, or a free car park nearby. Power, a starter pack for stove, bed linen and towels are all included. Sorry, this is a pet-free, smoke-free home. You can find a shop in 0.1 miles, and two pubs in 0.1 miles. Note: Due to the character and original features within the cottage, there is limited head room in the second-floor double bedroom. Enjoy a countryside retreat at Cobbles Cottage.

Fabulous location, beautiful village- lovey stay. Super clean cottage with everything you need plus thoughtful little extras. Didn’t need to take anything. Cobbles Cottage is a great place to stay. We loved it. Situated in the heart of Heptonstall the cottage is a brilliant base for walks and accessing Hebden Bridge. There are two good pubs and a cafe within easy walking distance. The Cross Inn offers fab Thai food. The cottage itself is spacious, comfy and has everything you need. We will definitely stay again if we're back in the area.

A really lovely, cosy cottage for a winter weekend. Everything works, the log burner is great and there’s all you could need kitchen-wise. And only 100 yards from the White Lion pub, which does great ale and a legendary Sunday lunch! Woujd stay again.
