Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383).

Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings.

Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F). Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard.

Trapani Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd.


For check-ins between 22:00 and 01:30 a surcharge will be applied, payable in cash upon arrival, as follows

Description of the area

The apartment is located in the historic center of Erice (in the ZTL area), an enchanting medieval village located on a mountain approximately 750 meters high, from which you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the western coast of Sicily, including the Egadi islands and the city ​​of Trapani.

Erice has an ancient history that dates back to the times of the Phoenicians and the Greeks. It was an important religious center for the Carthaginians and later for the Romans.

The village is characterized by narrow cobbled streets, ancient walls, and fascinating stone buildings. Not to be missed is the Castle of Venus, built by the Normans on the ruins of an ancient temple dedicated to the goddess Venus. From the historic towers of Pepoli and King Federico you can enjoy a splendid view of the village. A visit to the Duomo dell'Assunta is a must, a 14th century Gothic church with an imposing bell tower. Indeed, Erice is famous for its medieval churches, each with unique characteristics and artistic treasures.

Erice is also known for its artisan traditions, in particular for the manufacturing of carpets and ceramics. The local pastry shop is renowned, with typical desserts such as "Genoese", shortcrust pastry desserts filled with cream.

Erice is also perfect as a base for visiting Le Saline, the Egadi islands, Erice, San Vito Lo Capo and the beautiful naturalistic areas and beaches of Western Sicily!
