Cocoonr/Book&Pay agency offers this charming 75 m² air-conditioned apartment with sea and mountain view, less than a kilometer from the beach, can accommodate up to 4 travelers and is located in Port-Vendres. An ideal place to enjoy the magic of Port-Vendres and Collioure
Located on the 3rd floor (no elevator), it comprises a pretty living room, a fully-equipped kitchen, a lovely bedroom and a shower room. Wifi included, we're waiting for you!
The apartment comprises
- A bright 35 m² living room with a "cathedral" lounge area, sofa bed (90×190), TV, dining area and loggia access.
- A fully-equipped kitchen with electric kettle, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher, hob...
- Large bedroom with double bed (140×190) and storage space
- A bathroom with shower
- A laundry area and storeroom
- Separate WC
For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: washing machine, fan, ironing board and iron.
Exterior:
- A 22 m² loggia, facing "North-East", with a sitting area to enjoy the sunny days.
Ideally located overlooking the deep-water port of Port-Vendres, Avenue du Maréchal Castellane borders the square of the same name. This beautifully restored square features a fountain basin, a large esplanade dedicated to relaxation and summer festivities, a pétanque court and parking spaces.
The apartment enjoys a magnificent view of the square below, the steep heights of the town and Cap Béar. In summer, the trees provide shade and coolness, and in winter, when the trees lose their leaves or the town council carries out its annual pruning, a superb view of the port and the sea is revealed from the apartment.
Access to the harbor and its shops is immediate and recently facilitated by a panoramic elevator. Fishermen await you on the quay with their freshly caught fish! You can also enjoy stores, restaurants, bars, markets...
Activities:
- Hiking: the wonderful, vertiginous coastal path, easily accessible, will take you south to the towns of Banyuls and Cerbère, then on to Spain.
- Maritime activities: scuba diving, fishing, sea outings, swimming and other water sports.
- Cultural entertainment: concerts, an auditorium, a cinema and a media library provide entertainment all year round.
- Sites and museums: "Charles Rennie Mackintosh" interpretation center, visits to Collioure, Banyuls, Cerbère, Paulilles cove and other natural and tourist sites, Maillol museum.
- Tourist information: The tourist office is located 100 m below on the port.
Transportation:
If you choose to come by car, free parking is available at the foot of the building and in adjacent streets.
For other modes of transport, here's some information you may find useful:
- Nearest train station: Port-Vendres, approx. 800 m away (3 min by car).
- Nearest airport: Perpignan, approx. 42 km (43 min by car)
A bus service serves all coastal towns and sites, from Perpignan to Cerbère.
Other comments:
- The staircase to the apartment is quite steep and may be difficult for people with walking difficulties. Parents of children under 5 years of age are advised to be vigilant.
- Bed linen and towels are not included and can be provided on request, at an additional cost (rental and payment to be made with our local partner). Rates given are for information only, subject to change by our partner.
- End-of-stay cleaning includes preparation of accommodation for future visitors. Please leave it in a clean and tidy condition and clean all appliances after use.
- All requests for arrival or departure outside the times indicated are subject to the availability of the person in charge of reception. A flat-rate supplement may be charged.
- The apartment has a second bedroom which is not available for rental.
