Welcome to Eesveen! Located in the countryside, on the border of Overijssel, Friesland and Drenthe, this ten-person accommodation is the ideal base for those who want to discover the beauty of these provinces. Get cosy in the spacious living room with large wood-burning stove. Enjoy your private terrace and store your own bikes in the bike shed. This holiday home is perfect for nature lovers. Visit the picturesque water village of Giethoorn in Overijssel or go exploring in National Park Weeribben-Wieden. In Drenthe, the dolmens near Havelte in Darp, National Park Dwingelderveld and Holtingerveld are certainly worth a visit. Hiking enthusiasts will be in their element here!
This ten-person holiday home has a spacious living room equipped with a comfortable seating area with a large stove. There is also a dining area with a long table and the French doors give access to the spacious, private terrace. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes an eight-burner gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, double sink, double toaster and a coffee maker. On the ground floor you will also find a bedroom and a bathroom. The bedroom has two single box-spring beds. The bathroom has a bidet, shower and washbasin. There are also two separate toilets on the ground floor.
Upstairs you will find four more bedrooms. Three bedrooms have two single beds, one bedroom has a double bed. Some bedrooms have box-spring beds, one bedroom has its own wash basin. Upstairs is also a separate toilet with washbasin. The entire house has central heating. Outside, you have plenty of outdoor space and a spacious, private terrace with patio chairs and a beer table with two benches. There is plenty of parking space. Particularities
• The minimum age of the main booker for this holiday home is 18 years.
• Firewood is available.
• Groups of friends under 25 are not allowed.
• The number of bedrooms at your disposal is determined according to the size of the travelling party.

Surrounded by nature reserves De Woldberg and De Eese, the Eesveen area is the perfect location for true nature lovers. Take a lovely walk or cycle ride through nature and enjoy the peace and quiet. The charming fortified town of Steenwijk is also nearby: here you will find shops and nice restaurants where you can enjoy a snack and a drink, among other things. Authentic Giethoorn is also nearby and certainly worth a visit. Hire a boat and discover the surroundings of National Park Weerribben-Wieden or visit the cosy village. In Giethoorn, you have the opportunity to enjoy the many small canals that have earned the village the name Venice of the North.

We konden s'avond heerlijk buiten zitten bij een vuurtje.
De vloer boven kraakte behoorlijk
Onze groep was zeer tevreden over de locatie.

De inrichting van ons verblijf was geweldig. Ook was men unaniem van mening dat de bedden uitstekend zijn. Kamers zijn netjes en zeer schoon. Host was uitermate vriendelijk en gastvrij.

We hadden het geluk dat we in de locatie verbleven na het hitteweekend in de laatste week van juni.
Kamers waren nu fris en zeker niet te warm. De vraag is natuurlijk of dat ook zo is wanneer het 30 graden of warmer is.
Zie dit niet als iets negatiefs. We kunnen er niet over oordelen. Het is maar een opmerking.
