Property for exclusive use Villa La Selva is an ancient property of 584 sq mt for exclusive use, accommodating up to 14 guests in 7 double bedrooms, 5 bathrooms with shower, a dining room and 3 living rooms.
The house, dating back to the early 19th century, has been perfectly restored and transformed into a holiday home.
The flood-lit swimming pool is completely private.
A large garden is available to the guests, as well as two equipped loggias, outdoor furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals.
Outdoors and swimming pool The villa offers large open spaces and is characterized by two large furnished loggias on the ground floor, as well as several green areas between the garden and the swimming pool.
The rectangular swimming pool is equipped with outdoor shower and measures 12x6 with a depth of 1.40 metres.
All outdoor areas are well furnished with tables and chairs for outdoor dining, and are characterized by a large shaded area with trees, chairs and deckchairs.
Barbecue at guests' disposal.
Parking on the property.
Interior The house is a typical Tuscan villa, with wood beams on the ceilings, arches, and cotto flooring.
On the ground floor, guests will find a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room with ornamental fireplace, a large living room and a smaller one (the smaller one with air conditioning) each with a satellite TV and direct outdoor access, a second kitchen with two doors leading outside, one double bedroom, one bathroom with shower (only shower curtain, no cubicle).
A stone staircase leads to the upper floor with one living room with TV and air conditioning, 2 double bedrooms with air conditioning, each with a private bathroom with shower, two double bedrooms with air conditioning, one bedroom with two single beds (only with fans) and bathroom with private shower in the room, plus one bathroom with shower.
On the second floor there is a bedroom with two single beds with air conditioning.
Location The villa is surrounding by countryside with many olive groves and woods, in a panoramic position.
The town of Lastra a Signa is reachable on foot.
The villa is the ideal choice for groups of friends or large families who are looking to visit Florence in the morning, before relaxing in the garden and swimming pool.
Facilities Villa La Selva has wifi, central heating, air conditioning in the bedrooms on the first and second floor (except for the bedroom with two single beds on the upper floor) and in 2 living rooms, baby bed and highchair, parking in the property.
Services The price includes: the supply of bathroom, bed, kitchen linen and pool towels (changed weekly), internet connection, consumption of water, electricity (but not air conditioning) and gas (but not heating), high chair and baby bed.
Upon request and to be paid on the spot, possibility of organizing cooking courses, dinners, domestic help.
Important information The swimming pool is open from the 1st of May until the 30th of September.
Pool cleaning and maintenance will be performed early in the morning on days agreed upon with guests.
Access to the villa is via a 500-meter uphill paved road, requiring a slow pace.

Our host was very accommodating as our travel was delayed and we were about an hour late in arriving. The property was nicely furnished and the air conditioning was great to have despite the additional fees. This is a family owned and run property and they live close by which was great as there was a problem with the pool, but they were there quickly to address issues.

In comparison to other Properties we have stayed at around Tuscany, this was disappointing in terms of amenities like Aircon, Effectiveness of the Showers, Limited WiFi coverage, Kitchen appliances and Pool.
