The bedrooms consist of a king-size, double, and single, serviced by a bathroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with patio, lawn, and furniture, plus off-road parking for two cars. Within 4.3 miles, you will find a shop, within 2.2 miles, a pub, and within 1.2 miles, a river, and please note this is a smoke-free property. One well-behaved pet welcome. Fantastic cottage and was a great fit for Christmas. The tea, biscuits and dog treats were a welcome surprise thank you. We had some fantastic walks using the cottage as a starting point which worked out perfectly. Thank you Ann for your warm hospitality and your continued support during our visit. ...

We loved our stay in Dove Cottage -- it was the perfect base to explore the White Peak. Ann made us feel very welcome and was helpful with anything we needed. As walkers, dog owners and cyclists staying for two wet weeks in November the cottage was warm and cosy, had great facilities (specifically the washing machine!) and we felt very comfortable staying with our dog.

Fabulous views and it helped having the owner who was very supportive next door. In the bathroom the mirror was not over the sink making a wet shave difficult. A very minor point but it would have been nice if there were glasses suitable for drinking spirits. We are hoping to go again
