Cozy 95 sqm apartment for 6 people, located on the 4th and top floor of a building with lift (NOT suitable for the disabled).
The property is located in Giardini Naxos, a wonderful seaside area near Taormina, a few minutes on foot from the beaches.
The accommodation has access to the shared swimming pool (open in July and August). The apartment consists of a living room, a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies. *Airport shuttle service from/to Catania Airport available upon request* The inside is organized as follows: - KITCHEN with induction hob, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher, electric kettle, microwave oven and kitchenware; - LIVING ROOM with double sofa bed, sofa, flat screen TV, two dining tables and access to the two balconies, split of AC; - BEDROOM I with double bed, split of AC; - BEDROOM II with two single beds, split of AC; - BATHROOM with shower, sink, bidet and toilet; - SERVICE BATHROOM with sink and toilet; - TWO BALCONIES with wooden table and chairs, umbrella and small swing (one of the two balconies is located at the entrance to the apartment); - SHARED SWIMMING POOL. FURTHER SERVICES AVAILABLE TO GUESTS: unlimited wifi, air conditioning with heat pump, two fans (in each bedroom), washing machine (outside), two wardrobes, iron and ironing board, drying rack and hairdryer. Camping cot available. PLEASE NOTE: - The fireplace in the living room is a piece of furniture and CANNOT be used. - The shared swimming pool is ONLY open in July and August. *THE SWIMMING POOL IS CLOSED FROM 2 PM TO 5 PM EVERY DAY* The apartment is for the exclusive use of our guests. To ensure the security of your personal data, 7 days before your arrival you will receive instructions to register your documents via our Guest Portal and pay the Tourist Tax (EUR 1 per person per night, for the first 10 nights only, as requested by the Municipality of Giardini Naxos.). We need such procedure to verify your ids and docs and in order to send info to the police service "Alloggiati Web" which is Italian procedure to host guest in italy. You can find all the information on the official website alloggiatiweb.poliziadistato Switching on and off air conditioning and heating is subject to compliance with current Italian legislation (DPR 16/04/2013 n.74, DM 6/10/2022 n.383). Summer: the average air temperature must not get below 26°C (78,8 °F) for all kinds of buildings. Winter: the weighted average of the air temperatures must not exceed 19°C (66,2 °F).
Time and period of operation depend on the climatic zone defined by the standard. Giardini Naxos Climatic Zone B: 7 hours a day from December 8th to March 23rd. For all late check-ins from 20:30 to 00:00, we require an extra charge to be paid cash upon check-in as per the following: EUR 25 from 20:30 to 22:30; EUR 35 from 22:30 to 00:00. Late check-ins are not available after 00:00. In the surroundings of the accommodation it is possible to find all the main services, including bars, supermarkets, restaurants and a pharmacy.
The beaches of Recanati are only 500 meters away. Taormina is only a few km from the property.
In the city, a visit to the Roman Theater (Odeon Theater) and the Ancient Theater (Greek Theater), as well as the Cathedral and the Castle, is not to be missed.
Furthermore, the beaches adjacent to Isola Bella and the boat ride to the spectacular Blue Grotto will be unmissable destinations during the stay. Main points of interest: - Beaches: 5 minute on foot; - Schisò Castle and Capo Schisò Archaeological Park: 10 minutes on foot; - Statue of Nike: 18 minutes on foot; - Taormina (9 km): 20 minutes by car. - Sire restaurant: 1 minute on foot (70 meters); - Euro Market (grocery store): 2 minutes on foot (170 meters). - Bar Sire: 5 minutes on foot (400m). - The best way to visit the area is by car (it is possible to rent a car at Catania Fontanarossa Airport).
Paid parking available on street near the property (blue stripes). - From Catania-Fontanarossa airport, it is possible to reach Giardini Naxos thanks to the direct service provided by Etna Trasporti.
The journey takes approximately 1 hour 15 minutes and tickets can be purchased online, at the ticket offices outside the airport or directly on the bus.
Buses stop at the Giardini Naxos Recanati Bus Terminal, a 3-minute walk from the property.
At this same stop, it is also possible to take buses which take you to Taormina in about 10 minutes.
