Nestled on the outskirts of the historic city of Chester in Cheshire is the luxurious holiday home Solway.
This idyllic, dog-friendly dwelling benefits from a spectacular, stylish and thoughtfully decorated interior, an indoor, heated swimming pool, a gym and office space as well as a large garden and fantastic location near the wonders of Chester; a truly perfect setting for large families or friends looking to explore the North West.
Cross the threshold entering straight into the open-plan living space where the open fire creates a welcoming social hub of the home, step into the fully-equipped kitchen and rustle up a delicious meal that the whole family can enjoy around the extendable dining table.
If weather permits indulge in an alfresco affair upon the furniture in the expansive garden where you can then raise a toast to your getaway before taking advantage of the house’s amenities.
Later, when yawning begins, wash off the day in either of the ground-floor shower rooms or the shower room on the first-floor ready for a restful sleep in either of the five beautifully-appointed bedrooms.
Completing the ground floor is a king-size with en-suite shower room, a king-size and a twin with Smart TV, climb the stairs to find two further king-sizes both with Smart TVs and one with Juliet balcony and en-suite shower room.

The living areas in this luxurious holiday home consist of an open-plan living space with kitchen equipped with electric oven, gas hob, barbecue grill, combi microwave/oven, American fridge/freezer, a dining area for ten and a sitting area with Smart TV and open fire. There is also a utility room with washing machine and two dishwashers and gym/office/snug with TV, cross trainer, wobble board and bike and also an indoor, heated pool. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with Juliet balcony, Smart TV an en-suite shower room, a ground-floor king-size with en-suite shower, a king-size with Smart TV, a ground-floor king-size and twin serviced by a shower room, a ground-floor shower room, a wet room and cloakroom. Outside there is ample off-road parking and large rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture and barebcue. Within 0.6 miles there is a shop and 0.9 miles a pub. Three well-behaved dogs welcome, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included. Explore Cheshire at Solway. Note: Children must be supervised at all times on the open-tread stairs and near the pool. Note: Fuel for the open fire is only provided in the winter seasons. Please note: bookings must fall between a Friday and Friday. Please note: Property does not accept short breaks during School holidays or term times

Lovely house. Fantastic pool. Well equipped. For a family of 6 adults and 4 children it would have been good to have a second twin bedded room. The floor in the downstairs area was very slippy when damp, the children using the downstairs twin room and shower slipped several times moving from the shower to the bedroom.

Solway is a beautiful, spacious house, with modern deco and lovely grounds at the back of the property. One of the major draws for us was the beautiful indoor pool which is just as fabulous as it looks in the photos! The birthday wine and chocolates left by Suzanne were much appreciated. We're already thinking about our next stay!

Just had a fabulous weekend at Solway celebrating my 60th birthday with family. The place is amazing.......has everything you need, is very comfortable, spacious and clean. The pool is fantastic!! Would definitely go back! Thank you Solway!!
