Set directly above one of Cornwall’s most spectacular bays with it's blue flag award-winning beach, Surf and Sand sits in an outstanding location in Carbis Bay. The sandy beach offers water sports as well as bars and places to eat, including fine dining at the Carbis Bay Hotel. This luxury second-floor apartment, sleeps four guests and is ideal for a family or couples. It has outstanding panoramic sea views across St Ives Bay and to Gwithian Lighthouse from the lounge/dining room, kitchen and the master bedroom and from the beach front balcony. Exquisitely furnished and extremely well-appointed, sink back into one of the inviting two-seater cream Italian leather sofas and watch nature at play, you may even spot dolphins & seals in the ocean. Alternatively, why not take advantage of the fantastic entertainments package provided with full Sky TV including Movies, Sports, Children's channels and Netflix. The dining area forms part of the open-plan living area and is conveniently located next to the kitchen archway, allowing guests to socialise with those preparing meals. A large oak dining table with six chairs is ideally placed to dine with a view. Enjoy the bright and spacious contemporary kitchen fully-equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. When the night stars appear, retreat to the master en-suite bedroom which boasts amazing views that are sure to take your breath away, or retire to the immaculately presented twin bedroom. Enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony and relax to the sound of the lapping waves on the beach. Direct access onto the South West coastal path where breathtaking walks await. Only a 1.2 mile beautiful walk into St Ives. Alternatively jump onto the nearby scenic train which will have you reach the thriving fishing town of St Ives within 5 minutes. Carbis Bay Station also connects to Cornwall’s wider mainline train network and the national network In St Ives, admire modern art at the Tate St Ives or try your hand at a range of water sports, including surfing and paddle boarding, from the popular spot of Porthmeor Beach. History buffs and shoppers may prefer to while away the day in town, whilst foodies are guaranteed to be spoilt for choice with local delicacies served at a vast array of restaurants. Journey from the picturesque harbour on a boat to Seal Island, the perfect place to spot an abundance of seals, wildlife and birdlife. Embark on journeys along the South West Coast Pathway where you can bask in glorious views of the coastline and magical bays. Further afield, discover Kynance Cove, St Michael's Mount, Mousehole, The Minack Theatre, Paradise Park, The Eden Project or the Lost Gardens of Heligan to name just a few attractions. However you decide to spend your days, enjoy from the stunning base of Surf and Sand.
The living areas in the property consist of a kitchen equipped with electric double oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, and ice cream maker, and a living/dining room with Smart TV, electric fire, and dining seating for six guests. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with TV and en-suite bathroom and a twin, along with a shower room. Outside there is a front balcony with furniture, a communal garden with furniture as well as designated parking place for one car. Within 0.5 miles you will find a shop, within 0.9 miles, a pub and within 0.1 miles, a beach and please note that this is a pet-free and non-smoking property. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the rent. Surf and Sand is a delightful property for a family getaway in Cornwall. Note: Guests must provide their own cot bedding
