Close to the beach in Southwold, Suffolk, Heron House is a spacious, period property, ideal for a family or get together of family and friends.
The house boasts a wealth of beautiful features and has been tastefully furnished to create a truly inspiring holiday home.
The holiday begins as soon as you step into the delightful sitting room, which comes complete with a charming window seat and an attractive open fire, creating a warming hub to the room and helping to establish a really welcoming ambience.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to produce delicious food for everyone in the holiday party and the rustic dining table is just made for gathering around and enjoying long, lingering meals together.
On the top-floor, there is a great alternative play space for the children.
With comfy beanbags, a coffee table and a flat-screen TV, there is plenty to keep you entertained if you get bored of the captivating views of Southwold lighthouse! When it’s time for bed, there are four immaculately presented bedrooms and the bathroom facilities offer the ultimate in opulence with a feature roll-top bath and enormous walk-in shower, so whether you like a refreshing shower or a relaxing soak in the bath, we’ve got it covered at Heron House.

Heron House is perfect for a family stay. 2 en-suite bathrooms plus family bathroom shared by 2 twin rooms and WC downstairs. Heating easy to control. Kitchen well equipped ( just need the knives sharpening) Comfortable beds and pillows. Well located. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Heron House. It was such a comfortable house and finished to a high standard. The only slight downside was not enough storage for clothes. My mum (staying in the purple room) had to keep most of her clothes in her suitcase for the week. But that should not detract from what is a very lovely house. The master suite is exceptional with a wonderful sea view.

Great property, perfect for what we were looking for and ideal for 3 couples. Has everything you need and is in a brilliant location, with decent parking available. We will definitely return.
