We have stayed in many Sykes Cottages but this was the first one that provided dishwasher tablets and washing powder and an adequate supply of toilet rolls and even spare light bulbs. They also provided a wonderful supply of local food. The cottage was warm and cosy and in the perfect location, being in a quiet area bur very close to the castle and cathedral and transport.

Lovely cottage in quiet top end of the city , but easy walk into the old area and then down to waterside and major shopping centre - good walk back up steep hill ! Very comfortable and homely . Fantastic welcome treats in the fridge (best ever received). Cleanliness of the property could be better , but bathrooms and toilets spotless . Would definitely recommend .
