We are offering this stunning chalet for rent, situated on the hills above the village of Taninges, featuring a heated indoor swimming pool measuring 8x4m. With a floor area of 130 m², it boasts a beautiful panoramic view and can accommodate up to 8 guests. it comprises a lovely living room with a wood-burning stove, a fully fitted open-plan kitchen, a master bedroom suite and three further bedrooms, a shower room (in the master bedroom suite), an upstairs bathroom, and a shower and toilet area in the pool house.
The chalet is set on a sloping, landscaped plot of 1,083 m² and features a lovely 77 m² terrace.
Wi-Fi access is available, all linen is provided (including pool towels), and cleaning is included – we’re just waiting for you! The accommodation is laid out as follows: Ground floor: - Garage and ski storage area with boot dryer. - Pool plant room. First floor: - A 53 m² living area with TV, wood-burning stove (starter pack of wood provided), sofa and dining area. - An open-plan fitted kitchen featuring: electric kettle, oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, 90cm 4-ring ceramic hob, built-in automatic extractor hood, Vertuo pod coffee machine… - Separate toilet. - Bedroom 1: master suite (14 m²): a queen-size bed (160×200) and an en-suite shower room. - A 78 m² area with a private, heated indoor swimming pool, open all year round, measuring 8×4 m and covered by a tarpaulin.
There is also a shower room with a shower and toilet. - A utility room. On the 2nd floor: - Bedroom 2: a queen-size bed (160×200). - Bedroom 3: a queen-size bed (160×200). - Bedroom 4: a double bed (140×190). - A bathroom with shower, bath, double washbasin and toilet. Outdoors: - An unfenced plot of 1,000 m². - A terrace on the first floor with garden furniture for 8 people (table 180 cm in diameter), perfect for enjoying sunny days. - A balcony on the second floor accessible from two bedrooms. For even greater comfort, the owners provide the following additional facilities: a high chair, washing machine, tumble dryer, Krampouz electric griddle for 10 people, raclette and fondue set, board games, books, DVDs, and an iron and ironing board. The house is ideally situated in Taninges, in a very pleasant and peaceful setting with panoramic views of the mountains.
Nearby, in the town centre, you’ll find all the essential shops as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and a market… - Les Gets. - Chamonix Mont Blanc, 53 km away (53 minutes’ drive). - Thonon-Les-Bains, 45 km away (55 minutes’ drive). Activities: - Tourist attractions: Cirque de Sixt Fer à Cheval, Mont Blanc, Morzine, Megève, Evian-les-Bains, Thonon-Les-Bains, Lake Geneva… - Sports activities: the accommodation is situated at the junction of three ski areas (Les Gets, Praz de Lys, Samoëns), hiking, snowshoeing, mountain biking, kayaking, rafting, canyoning, paragliding, fishing, stand-up paddleboarding… - Cultural attractions: Yvoire, one of the most beautiful villages in France, Notre-Dame-d’Abondance Abbey… - Culinary heritage: Savoie cheeses, tartiflette, Savoyard fondue… - Events: The Grande Odyssée Savoie Mont-Blanc passes through in January; the Assaut du Haut Fleury and Traversée de la Ramaz in February; La Jacquemarde in August… Transport: - 1 parking space in the garage, 2 private outdoor spaces. Chalet Taninges "Parfait séjour pour un week-end à proximité des pistes!
La piscine était un gros plus en particulier si la neige n’est pas au rdv. L’eau mériterait d’être un peu plus chaude ;)
La cuisine est fonctionnelle et bien équipée."

Tout était parfait hormi 1 élément : la température fraîche de la piscine, ne participant pas à ce que nous apprécions les rares moments partagés au sein de la piscine.

Chalet Taninges "Lovely chalet with private pool and great views
🙂 Lovely chalet situated on the side of the mountain with beautiful views. Perfect for skiing in Les Gets but you will need a car (it’s a 10 minute drive). The private pool was a real bonus. We shared the chalet with another family (8 of us in total) and there was plenty of room. Would definitely stay here again."
