This cosy wood-panelled dwelling offers an inviting studio-style layout, featuring a sumptuous double bed alongside an open-plan living space, boasting a pint-sized kitchenette, fit with everything you need for a self-catering stay, and a sweet dining/seating area, perfect for nestling up with your loved one for an evening in front of the TV.
Tucked away at the back of the lodge is a delightful shower room, offering an area of privacy.
Step out onto the decking, idyllically nestled on the banks of the lake, to unwind with a refreshing glass of fizz, soaking in the breath-taking views across the still water, enveloped in the warmth of the fire pit in the colder evenings, and end each day in style with a luxurious soak beneath the stars in the woodfired hot tub.
Take the short stroll along the footpath leading from the holding into the center of Chacombe, where the streets are lined with enchanting stone-built, thatched cottages, and indulge in a bite to eat at the 17th Century village pub, The George & Dragon, serving locally sourced produce in a rustic setting.
Avid walkers can join the Jurassic Way as it passes through the entrance of the site from Banbury, following a limestone ridge through varying landscapes, as far North as Lincolnshire.
Spend a fun-filled day visiting the nearby market town of Banbury, offering an array of amenities and attractions, from shopping opportunities at Castle Quay Shopping Centre to the local history on display at Banbury Museum & Gallery and the landmark of Banbury Cross.

Oak Lodge is a remarkable wooden lodge nestled in Chacombe, Northamptonshire. Hosting a double bedroom in a studio-style layout along with a shower room, this property can sleep up to two guests. There is an open-plan living space with a kitchen, dining area and sitting area. Outside there is off-road parking and a decked area, providing breath-taking views across the lake with a seating area and a woodfired hot tub. Oak Lodge is an idyllic base for a romantic retreat to the East Midlands. Note: This property does not accept any children under 18 years old - this includes infants.
