Carver's Rest is a charming, ground-floor barn conversion resting on a working farm in the rural village of Edingley, Nottinghamshire.
The interior offers a sophisticated mix of contemporary styling and natural influences, providing a well-equipped base for families, friends and couples looking to explore the local attractions.
Step inside and pop off your walking gear before following the tiled flooring into the open-plan living space.
At one side rests the amply equipped kitchen, hosting an excellent selection of integrated appliances and utensils to ensure your culinary needs are met, while the French baguette dining table will seat six and be perfect for entertaining.
Spend your evenings unwinding on the corner sofa, tuning into the Smart TV whilst the woodburning stove offers a gentle warmth to the room.
When the night rolls in, retire to either of the king-size bedrooms, with the master room benefitting from an en-suite wet room and combining impressive oak furnishings with original brick mangers, whilst the second bedroom offers a comfortable arrangement with a mix of wooded furniture and modern twists.
Additional sleeping for two can be arranged on the sofa bed in the living area.
Freshen up in the bathroom, fitted to a high standard so you can enjoy a hot bath or shower at the end of an exciting day.
The wrap around garden consists of a well-kept lawn and patio area, perfect for enjoying a barbecue whilst taking in the idyllic farmland views.
If you fancy a night off cooking, then there are a range of friendly local pubs and restaurants in both Farnsfield and Southwell, as well as fresh, local produce found in local shops and at farm gates.
Explore the pretty town of Southwell further, with its 14th century Minster, Southwell Workhouse and the National Trust’s beautiful Clumber Park, whilst there is also the Robin Hood Way and Sherwood Forest, where guests can take advantage of the many footpaths and green lanes cutting through the countryside.
Alternatively, visit the cities of Nottingham and Lincoln for ample shopping and sightseeing opportunities.
