This highly desirable area of Devon is ideal for those seeking peace and idyllic pristine countryside.
Step inside the stone white-washed cottage to be greeted by antique furnishings and English country cottage style.
Take a seat in front of the woodburning stove, taking centre stage in the traditional inglenook, or bring a book along and take a seat at the modest dining table to enjoy the tranquility of the area.
Moving through into the kitchen/diner the stylish interior continues, with sleek cream white units and an impressive red Rangemaster cooker, this room is the perfect place to enjoy a home-cooked meal and some quality family time.

Rockwood is a wondrous property resting in the village of Drewsteignton in Devon. There are two king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, the second (zip/link) as well as there being a ground-floor bathroom, making the property suitable to sleep four people. The cottage is also home to a kitchen/diner, utility, and a living/dining room with a woodburning stove. Outside is an enclosed courtyard with furniture and roadside parking as well as a car park are available. Rookwood is the ideal property from which to explore the Dartmoor National Park with your loved ones.
Please note: Steep uneven stairs with handrail.
Please note - The Post Office shop is closed until further notice. Chagford, approx 3.6 miles is a busy little town with several shops.

Immaculately clean, super comfy beds, lovely and cosy and a Christmas Tree which was a lovely touch. Fantastic community run pub in the village serving delicious food. I would highly recommend this cottage.
