This large detached Edwardian House lies in the village of Swanage, at the eastern end of Dorset’s famous Jurassic Coast, most appreciated for its golden sands.
Bring along the family to enjoy everything this beautiful retreat has to offer, a homely accommodation set over three floors, with a collection of bedrooms to suit guests of all ages.
The ground floor is home to a lovely lounge hosting a woodburning stove, and a dining room which includes matching chairs and bench seating, comfortably set-up for fourteen people.
Nearby, the kitchen is filled with character, wrapped in cream units, and centred by an AGA cooker, surrounded by exposed brickwork.
Up on the first floor, a collection of sleeping arrangements await, ideal for both you and the children.
One king-size room features its own en-suite, and a quality bathroom ensures everyone can get ready in style, comprising of both a bath, and a separate shower.
For more options wander up to the top floor, where you will be welcomed by a spacious family bathroom, which boasts a luxury freestanding bath and walk-in shower, exceptionally designed to that of a hotel standard.
The king-size bedroom is your own haven to escape to after a long day, also providing a sofa bed for a little one, a desk and chair, as well as ample storage.

The Victorian wooden pier is a great place for a stroll or fishing, a wonderful setting to watch the world pass by. Take the short drive to Studland, which has one of the finest beaches in the country, surrounded by heathland, together with the regular chain ferry, which crosses the mouth of Poole Harbour to Sandbanks.

20 Ulwell Road is a beautiful detached cottage situated in the village of Swanage, Isle of Purbeck. Hosting seven bedrooms; four king-size (two with en-suite), a double, a twin, and a single, along with two bathrooms, and two cloakrooms, this property can sleep up to eleven people. Inside you will also find a kitchen, utility area, dining room and sitting room, each with a woodburning stove. To the outside is ample off-road parking, and an enclosed raised decked area with furniture and grassed area. Located in a heart-warming setting with lovely surroundings, 20 Ulwell Road is a wonderful family cottage in a magnificent part of England.

This is the second time of staying at this property because it suits a three generational family get-together and we were as pleased with our return visit as the first. . Perfect property for our family. Close to beach which was a bonus. Kitchen very well equipped but we could not find a wine opener anywhere? Had to use an attachment on old can opener!! Overall, the property exceeded our expectations. The house was spacious, providing good sized rooms that easily accommodated a three generational family break with an age range of 2 to 76. The location was ideal being only about 300m walk to the beach and a pleasant stroll along the Promenade into the centre of town.
