Beach Retreat is the Gold winner of Best Cottage in South West England in Sykes Gems 2023 and it is located just a stone's throw away from the beautiful, dog-friendly sandy beach at Instow, with access to the colourful village of Appledore and cobbled streets of Clovelly.
Furnished to a wonderful standard of quality throughout, bursting with character, this semi-detached holiday let is perfect for that much needed break away-from-it-all. There is a warm feel within the living room, elevated by the woodburning stove and beamed ceiling.
Relax and unwind in the plush armchairs after a day out exploring the famous Tarka Trail.
This room also plays host to a bright and sunny dining area, at which to enjoy your meals in the company of your loved ones.

Beach Retreat is a wonderful holiday home situated in the pretty, seaside village of Instow, in North Devon. Boasting two bedrooms; a double and a twin, this property can sleep four people. The interior also has a shower room, kitchen and living/dining room with woodburning stove. Parking is at Sandhills beach public car park 100 yards from the property; please check online for current rates. Nearby access to all the local amenities Instow has to offer, including tasty seafood restaurants. Beach Retreat is the ideal hideaway to be enjoyed the year-round. This property will accommodate 1 well-behaved medium dog or 2 small dogs. This cottage formerly known as Beech Retreat.

A delightful cottage with all the amenities that you need to make the stay perfect - the only thing we had perhaps misinterpreted was parking - we had thought there was a designated place
