The open views and countryside are a breath of fresh air, wrapped around the property for a peaceful atmosphere.
Families can make the most of the scenery and relax amongst the neatly arranged interior.
Enter to the back of the property, and a utility room leads over to a well-equipped kitchen, a cosy and delightful place to prepare those home-cooked meals.
Just off from this, a dining room lies to the side, with wooden seating and a view that looks out to the warm and inviting garden area.
Moving through to the hallway, a classically finished bathroom holds both a bath and shower, carrying a serene feel from start to finish.
Next you will come to a double bedroom, layered with a lovely print, and wall art for an added touch.
A twin bedroom is elevated by a splash of colour, charming furniture, and completed with flowery curtains.
Towards the front of the cottage, a luxury sitting room boasts two blue couches, and is uplifted by an open fire.
This sweeps over to a conservatory, providing extra space to embrace quiet time, drawing in the beautiful views from outside.
Step outside and you will be welcomed by hillside views, trees and open sky.
Sit back and admire the landscape, or take a stroll in the surrounding countryside as guests are welcome to access walks across the surrounding sheep farm.
Situated in the Sperrins, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty there are walks and cycle rides to enjoy.
The nearby Davagh Forest offers mountain bike routes and trails to entertain everyone, or visit the famous Beaghmore Stone Circle which dates back to the Bronze Age.
Further afield, the towns of Plumbridge, Omagh and Cookstown are within driving distance and waiting to be explored.

Shepherds' Retreat is a spacious bungalow situated in the countryside eleven miles from Gortin in County Tyrone. Hosting two bedrooms, one double and one twin, as well as a family bathroom, this property can sleep up to four people. Inside, there is also a sitting room with a conservatory, along with a utility room. To the outside, is ample off road parking and a gravelled garden with furniture. Located in a rural setting, Shepherds' Retreat is a comforting bungalow in a lovely part of Ireland.

We stayed for a week in October with our son and his dog. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location is truly beautiful and the cottage is situated within a naturally beautiful area with access to walks and scenery literally outside the door. The cottage is quite remote and while Cookstown and Oma...
A remote and beautiful base from which to explore the Sperrin Mountains can be found in the area.

This is rated 3* by the Northern Ireland tourist board. It is comfortable rather than luxurious. There are a few things we really liked though:1. Open fire with wood available in the outbuilding2.
