An attractive detached, thatched barn conversion situated next to the owner’s home at the end of a country lane, 1.5 miles from the Devon market town of Hatherleigh and within walking distance of the popular Tarka Trail.
Set in an isolated position, but close to neighbouring farms, this lovely Hatherleigh cottage provides a quiet rural retreat.
Inside this cottage near Hatherleigh, there is a large sitting room with a woodburner, ideal to relax in front of after a day exploring the Tarka Trail.
Also on the ground floor are a kitchen and a family bathroom, whilst the bedrooms on the first floor boast lovely views of the surrounding rolling green countryside.
There is so much to see and do from your Devon cottage, with interesting craft shops and a thatched pub in Hatherleigh, to the breathtaking Dartmoor National Park which is within easy reach.

This cottage sleeps five people in three bedrooms, consisting of two doubles and one single, as well as a ground floor bathroom. The cottage also has a kitchen with breakfast area and a sitting room with dining area and woodburner. Outside there is off road parking for one car and a designated BBQ area on patio slabs on the right hand side, around the corner from the garden table/furniture. Groves Fishleigh provides an ideal rural base for guests who wish to walk the Tarka Trail, explore Dartmoor National Park, or relax in tranquil surroundings.

We had an excellent stay at this property it is beautiful owners are very friendly helpful and polite property had all the amenities we needed and was spotlessly clean on arrival was lovely to have the ducks wandering around outside would definitely recommend this property BEAUTIFUL place

We so enjoyed our stay at this beautiful spacious cottage. The beds were so comfortable, lovely hot shower. Well equipped kitchen.
Our little dogs enjoyed the secure front and back garden and amazing walks on the Tarka trail which was adjacent.
Malcomb and Zoe our hosts were very friendly and helpful.
We hope to return to this peaceful and relaxing cottage and area.

Beautiful peaceful location and gorgeous cottage only downfall is getting up at night to go downstairs to bathroom which is off the kitchen I found a bit of a nuisance. Otherwise the cottage was clean and the owners Zoe and Malcolm left us a box of quality street and a little card welcoming us which was lovely gesture . Would definately love to possibly come back and see the lovely quiet ducks x
