Bridlington 3 miles. A wonderful character property, originally the 18th century east wing of a country manor house in the sleepy hamlet of Boynton, 3 miles from the seaside town of Bridlington.

This beautiful Grade II listed Bridlingon cottage, adjoining the owner's property, Boynton Hall, has been carefully renovated, retaining some original features such as cast iron fireplaces and magnificent arched windows.

With a quirky layout to the building, passages and small steps lead to rooms furnished and decorated in keeping with this period property, which looks out over the beautiful lawns and gardens of the main house.

Across the courtyard from this elegant Bridlington cottage is use of a large, shared walled garden with summer pavilion, a perfect spot to sit and relax on a warm summer's evening.

Surrounded by the rolling countryside of the scenic Yorkshire Wolds, this Bridlington cottage is a good base to explore the local area.

Enjoy days on the sandy beaches at nearby Filey and Bridlington, or visit Bempton Cliffs Nature Reserve.

There are numerous historical stately homes close to this Bridlington cottage, including Sledmere House and Burton Agnes Hall.

Carr Cottage is a grade II listed cottage which adjoins the owner's property and was once the 18th century East Wing of a county manor house in the hamlet of Boynton, three miles from the town of Bridlington. Boasting three bedrooms (one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms), this cottage can sleep a total of six people. There are also two bathrooms, a fitted kitchen, a dining room and a sitting room. To the outside of the cottage is a large, shared garden with furniture and a summer pavilion, plus off road parking for two cars. With sandy beaches and many places to visit in the area, Carr Cottage is fabulous family holiday cottage. Note: One well-behaved dog welcome at a charge of £15.00.

We had a wonderful stay at Carr Cottage, Boynton Hall. It was very spacious, and comfortable. Very well equipped and set in wonderful surroundings. Jane and Peter were very helpful, as were everyone in the adjoining cottages. It is so convenient for Bridlington, Filey, Scarborough, and exploring the NYorkshire moors, as well as the Yorkshire Wolds. Highly recommended.

Lovely quirky cosy cottage in relaxing grounds. We enjoyed cliff top walks and visiting the local towns. Penny, Jane and Mrs Marriott were all very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Carr Cottage is a very quaint , comfortable, spacious and clean and has everything you need for your stay. It’s set around some beautiful scenery too. We had a lovely stay here and would recommend it to others .
