In Telgte town centre, you should take a stroll through the beautiful alleyways to the RELIGIO museum. Cyclists are drawn to the Ems cycle path to Warendorf (approx. 15 km) or to Münster (approx. 13 km). Both towns are great destinations for a day trip. The European Cycle Route R1 and the Peace Route, together with many other cycle paths, also offer countless opportunities for cyclists. Telgte's well-kept golf course is approx. 4.3 km away. Canoe tours on the Ems are a particularly enjoyable experience. The normally very calm river is also suitable for inexperienced paddlers. The blue ribbon of the Ems runs beautifully through the green landscape.
