Creamery Cottage is a stunning, newly renovated cottage nestled within a peaceful residential setting, located less than 5 miles from York city centre. Finished to an exceptionally high standard throughout, this spacious and beautifully presented home offers the perfect blend of modern luxury and countryside charm, making it ideal for families, groups or longer stays.
York city centre is approximately a 10–15 minute drive (traffic dependent), while a nearby bus stop just a few minutes’ walk away provides direct and convenient access into the city, making the location suitable for both drivers and non-drivers alike.
Accessed via a private lane, the property immediately impresses with a generous gated driveway, offering ample off-road parking for up to four cars. Upon entering the cottage, you are welcomed into a cosy and comfortable living area featuring plush seating, including a double sofa bed for additional guests, and a large wall-mounted Smart TV—perfect for relaxing after a day exploring York.
A separate dining area comfortably seats four guests and flows through to a bright and airy conservatory, which provides additional seating and a lovely space to unwind while enjoying views of the surrounding countryside.
To the other side of the property, the spacious modern kitchen is fully equipped with high-quality appliances including an oven, microwave, dishwasher, and everything you need to prepare home-cooked meals. The kitchen also benefits from a large dining table, ideal for family gatherings and shared meals. A downstairs WC adds further convenience.
Adjoining the kitchen area is a practical utility space complete with a washing machine, tumble dryer, additional sink, and a wine and beer fridge. This leads through to the standout games room, a fantastic feature for guests of all ages. Creamery cottage was a lovely, private location only a short Uber away from the city. The facilities were great and the games room was an added bonus.\r\n\r\nThe host was very professional and responsive. \r\n\r\nOverall I could not fault and would highly recommend booking.
We really enjoyed our stay and would come again.

Beautiful home in an excellent location, close to York city centre as well as other local tourist attractions. The Airbnb itself was a home away from home, with peaceful grounds, very generous spaces, and a fully equipped kitchen.

We had a fantastic stay at the Creamery Cottage. We made good use of the games room. Was a real focal point of our stay. Beds were really comfortable and the property exceeded our expectations
