Pevensey is full of 1066 history, with its castle and the first Norman church to be built. Eastbourne, with all its leisure, shopping and eating facilities, is 5 miles away. Battle, Hastings, Rye and Brighton are all within easy reach. Ideal for long, relaxing walks. Other attractions that are worth a visit include The Observatory Science Centre, East Sussex Falconry and Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway Adventure Park and if escape rooms are your thing, then there are a few to choose from. For the golfers in your party there is Eastbourne Downs golf course that allow non-members to play on most days. Having so much to see and do you won’t be able to fit it all in and you will want to come back again. Pub on beach 200 yards.
