Rushing rivers flow down the main dales of Wensleydale, Swaledale and Wharfedale, surrounded by the high peaks of the Pennines, and high waterfalls, such as Hardraw Force near Hawes, make spectacular sights.

The Lakes offer a land of exciting contrasts – high mountains and deep lakes in an ever-changing array of colours.

Great place quiet and relaxing. Plenty of space to allow you to find a quiet place to do your own thing.
Playroom was loved by the children and all.
Could do with some updating like kitchen area.
Only real downside was the farm track and the many potholes etc, which need filling.
But would go back.

The great deal breaker was by far the games room my grandchildren loved it so did the adults but the cottage on the whole was great clean bedding clean towels good equipped kitchen great for a big party will go back

Unfortunately when we stayed the weather was poor so the courtyard was muddy and slippery.The heating was controlled remotely by the owner so much of the house cooled down very quickly in the late evening.One morning due to a glitch the huge kitchen registered 5 degrees.The huge games room had just ...
