The ideal family holiday home in Bideford Port, with stunning estuary views and family attractions nearby.
From the lounge windows it almost feels you could dip your feet into the Torridge River, just feet away.. Ground Floor: Living/dining room: Smart TV, DVDs, Gas Fire, French Doors Leading To Patio Kitchen: Electric Oven, Gas Hob, Microwave, Fridge/Freezer, Dishwasher, Washing Machine Separate Toilet. First Floor: Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed, Freeview TV Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds, Freeview TV Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet.
Gas and electric central heating, gas, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included.
Travel cot and highchair available on request.

No smoking.. Situated right beside the South-West Coastal Path, Riverside Mews is a relaxing, end-terraced riverside house that provides great holiday accommodation regardless of the time of year.
Recently renovated in 2023 where new vinyl tiles floors have been laid on the ground floor and upstairs bathroom.
The property enjoying stunning views across the River Torridge from the garden is also just a short level walk along the river to one side, and Bideford’s Victoria Park on the other (some 400 yards away). The path leads through the park (home to Burton Art Gallery and Museum and the Café du Parc) and on to the pretty port town of Bideford, with its pastel-coloured houses alongside a tree-lined quay.
The park and its play areas are great for the young (and young at heart) with numerous playing fields, & a dedicated area for dogs, a small pool plus a skateboard park next to Bideford Town Football Club nearby. What to Do? Maybe take a boat trip to the nature reserve at Lundy Island, which offers the chance to see seals and dolphins, or there are many a pretty fishing villages to explore in the area, starting with places such as Clovelly, Instow and Appledore.
Just 2 miles away, the vast golden sandy beach of Westward Ho! is popular with surfers.
If you’d rather stay a little closer to home, you can saunter along the coastal path that follows the river, yards from the water’s edge.
The nearest slipway is 200 yards down river from the property, whilst keen cyclists and walkers can join the Tarka Trail, which passes through Bideford. Fantastic cottage with great views of the river.
The property was so clean and had absolutely everything you needed.
Location was good as we could walk into Bideford and have a bite to eat and then jump in the car to visit all the great local beaches nearby and there was plenty to visit.
Thank you would certainly recommend.

Access, parking and location, perfect. Warm and inviting interior with all stay requirements available and being of a certain age, glad to have an upstairs and downstairs toilet.Facilities serviceable and met all requirements, however, with the stay being over the Christmas and New Year period, the oven equipment needed attention. This did not however retract from being a generally perfect stay.

A fantastic location & property. Easy access to the River Torridge for Kayaking & Paddleboarding & only 10 minute walk to the town for shops, Morrison store around the corner. House felt like a home, very well equipped, would highly recommend. The owner was very good at communicating and it was an easy check in/out. We will be back again.
