A very elegant, authentic, traditional 18th-century Charolais farmhouse, carefully restored according to the rules of the art, nestled in a "panoramic promontory" on a gentle south-facing hill, on the edge of pastures (with the peaceful & famous Charolais cows as privileged neighbors in season) on the confines of a small rural hamlet, next to the charming, typical & commercial town of La Clayette (numerous amenities such as sports & leisure facilities on site) and the renowned, sumptuous Château de Drée dating from 1650 (listed as a Historic Monument) with a sublime 10-hectare French-style park, a marvel of plant architecture featuring a magnificent rose garden.
A sublime landscaped setting and picture-postcard scenery, nestled in the heart of the unspoiled Brionnais countryside (protected as a ZNIEFF area for its rich fauna and flora), combining agriculture and nature amidst bucolic rolling hedgerows dotted with rivers and fish-filled ponds, cultivated fields, and beautiful wild forests.
The cottage offers excellent comfort and is very spacious, with generously sized rooms.

Excellent rapport qualité prix, très bon accueil du propriétaire. Vue magnifique, logement très confortable et très agréable, parfaitement aménagé, tout est bien pensé. Linge de maison en suffisance, literie de bonne qualité. Propreté au top.Une adresse à retenir.

Bulldozer
Ancienne ferme refaite avec beaucoup de goût en respectant son authenticité, tout en y associant le confort contemporain. Le gîte est très bien équipé, il ne manque rien pour y passer un agréable séjour.Le propriétaire est très accueillant et à l’écoute. Pour résumer vous pouvez y aller les yeu fermés.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans ce gîte confortable, joliment rénové et impeccablement entretenu. Il disposait de tous les équipements nécessaires et était parfaitement adapté pour un séjour en famille (avec 2 enfants en bas âge). Encore un grand merci à Bernard pour son accueil et sa gentillesse !
