The Cocoonr agency is offering this superb flat for rent in Saint-Malo.
Settle into an armchair facing the sea and immerse yourself in the history of Saint-Malo: you’ll be looking out over Surcouf, the Grand Bé with Chateaubriand’s tomb, the Petit Bé – and you’ll even be able to see as far as Cap Fréhel! Located on the 3rd floor (no lift; narrow, steep staircase) with a floor area of 30 m² and accommodating up to 4 guests, it comprises a living area with a lounge and dining area, a fully fitted kitchen, a bedroom and a shower room.
Four-star hotel-quality bed linen is provided, with the beds made up on your arrival.
We’re just waiting for you! The accommodation is laid out as follows: - A sitting area with a double sofa bed and a TV - A dining area with a table and chairs - A fully fitted kitchen including: electric kettle, toaster, hob, fridge, microwave, oven, coffee maker and dishwasher - A bedroom with a double bed (two single beds that can be separated) - A bathroom with shower, washing machine and hairdryer - A separate toilet The flat is ideally situated in Saint-Malo, in a very pleasant setting.
You’ll find all the essential shops nearby, as well as boutiques, restaurants, bars and the market… Neighbourhood and activities: - Museums, the Cathedral, a walk along the ramparts; guided tours are available by contacting the tourist office located at Porte St-Vincent, at the foot of the ramparts on the outside - From Place St-Vincent, you’ll find bus and coach services to all parts of Saint-Malo, as well as the little train for a guided historical tour of the town - On Rue de l’Orme, also known as the ‘gourmet street’, you’ll discover some excellent local produce - On Place Chateaubriand, you can enjoy excellent seafood at the Café de l’Ouest, the best burgers at the Lion d’Or, enjoy Sunday brunch at the Maison Générale for a treat for both the taste buds and the eyes (please note: booking recommended), and discover the charming restaurant Le Cargo Culte in a friendly atmosphere, serving home-cooked dishes, tarts, salads, open sandwiches and soups, all set against a vintage décor. - In the evening, you can choose between a Celtic atmosphere at St-Patrick’s, a bistro vibe at Java with its swings, or – for beer lovers – L’Aviso, which will delight you with its 500 beers! Transport: If you choose to come by car, public car parks are subject to a charge; the nearest one is the ‘Parking Théâtre’. A wonderful spot next to the citadel walls. Be sure to pick up the key from the office before heading to the rental property.
Stairs are very steep, so keep that in mind as well. Otherwise, we loved the location abe how responsive our host was!
